I recently inherited the title Archivist for the family.
My Mother, Glyn Bell, was not a hoarder, but she was a Keeper-of-Important-Papers. When we went through the house after her death, we found carefully tied plastic bags protecting old photos, documents and Bell Family Gospel Singer posters. I brought them home with me and am currently involved in the lengthy process of scanning the hundreds of items so that I can share some of them with you here on the website.
Mother also carefully guarded the pictures Daddy inherited from his sister, Susie Marada Bell Spivey. This treasure encompasses not just the John T. Bell side of the family tree, but also the Mary Elva Cantrell side.
It is my hope that the grand children, great-grand children, and so on will be able to touch their roots here.
When I am gone, it is my hope that there will be another family member to host and tend this website.
